United Church of Canada seeks Executive Minister, Ethnic Ministries

The Executive Minister, Ethnic Ministries provides direction, co-ordination, support and supervision to the work and staff of the Ethnic Ministries Unit within the General Council Office of The United Church of Canada. Following the direction of the General Secretary and the General Council Minister - Programs for Mission and Ministry, the Executive Minister will ensure and enable the work of the Unit to reflect the policy directions set by the Executive of General Council. The Executive Minister will also support and enable the work of the Ethnic Ministries Unit-Wide Committee (Elected Members) in assisting the Executive of General Council, through the Permanent Committee, Programs for Mission and Ministry in establishing policy directions that enable racial and ethnic minority congregations and individuals, and all peoples, to be full participants and to offer leadership in the growing intercultural life of The United Church Of Canada, thus empowering the church to be the whole people of God.
