English Minister/Pastor Position
The Tri-Valley Chinese Bible Church (TCBC) is searching for a full time Pastor to lead the English Congregation, which is composed of 80+ English-speaking adults and youths. Located in Pleasanton, California (30 miles east of San Francisco), we are a non-denominational, evangelical Asian American Church, holding separate Sunday Worship Services in Mandarin and English. We have about 300+ worshippers attending, including children.
The English Congregation comprises approximately 80+ members and the worshippers are mostly Asian-American families, including middle school, high school, and college students. The English worship service is contemporary in format; Praise songs and hymnals are supplemented with piano and stringed and percussion instruments.
We are looking for a seminary graduate with a Master of Divinity degree or equivalent, a clear calling to the ministry, and evangelical belief. Previous experience in working with, motivating and encouraging people, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills are vital. A heart for the Asian culture will be warmly welcomed.

The Atlanta Chinese Christian Church is currently seeking a pastor who will lead and manage the English Congregation under the supervision of the Senior Pastor.
Qualifications:
*Be in possession of a B.A. (M.Div. preferred) or equivalent ministry experience, with Evangelical faith
*Required experience serving in a Chinese church
*Should be a strong leader with excellent interpersonal skills
*Should be well organized
*Should have proven skills in change management, be able to forge a vision, manage conflict and people
*Should have proven experience in mobilizing and raising lay volunteers and leadership

Job Description for Full-Time English Ministry Pastor
- Preach three-quarter time, 3 times a month.
- Attend monthly Executive Board meeting.
- Provide spiritual leadership, direction, and guidance as a part of the English Leadership Team (ELT).
- Serve as chairperson of the ELT.
- Work with ELT to provide pastoral care such as visitation and counseling to the English-speaking congregation in general, while mentoring leaders in the congregation, especially as it relates to pastoral experience – for example, in the areas of preaching, teaching, discipling, counseling, and working cross-culturally with the Chinese Ministry, visitation, etc.
- Assist the Senior Pastor in overseeing, coordinating, and providing vision and guidance to CCCC with the bulk of his time spent in general oversight of the EM in accordance with the overall purpose and mission of CCCC, but not to have integral involvement in every ministry of the EM.
